Adopting large-format bathroom amenities helps reduce plastic waste.
In-room bottled water is replaced with filtered water on the tap to reduce plastic waste. By saying no to the use of plastic water bottles, plastic waste is reduced by an annual average of 285,000 bottles. Guests can enjoy fresh, cleaner and healthier filtered water, readily available on tap. Using biodegradable take-away coffee cups, instead of traditional alternatives, can also help reduce our impact on the environment.
The filling of our indulgent duvets and pillows is made from 100% recycled materials: it’s estimated that the equivalent of 150 plastic bottles are recycled for the fillings of a medium weight king duvet and four pillows.
Aerated shower heads, can help reduce water usage and can also lower energy consumption for water heating. Eco-friendly bathroom amenities are sourced from sustainable or renewable plant-based origins, where their sourcing does not negatively impact the ecosystems.
Opus Bar and Grill embraces the purity of grilling through sustainably sourced ingredients. Being MSC and ASC certified, this means that the seafood used has been certified to meet Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)’s standard scientific measure of sustainable fishing.
